Important Sections
in our Terms
1. Applicability
The terms and conditions form part of the agreements that our driving school makes with its students.
2. Obligations of the school
The driving school is obliged to ensure that:
2.1 The lessons are given by instructors who meet the requirements of the Driving License Act;
2.2 The lesson will be given by the same instructor as much as possible;
2.3 The agreed lesson duration will be fully used for the lesson;
2.4 The student takes the driving test in the same car in which he took his lessons. In the event of force majeure, it is possible that the student takes the test in a replacement car;
2.5 In the event of force majeure (such as illness of the instructor or weather conditions making driving lessons impossible), the driving school reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the lesson.
3. Obligations of the Student
3.1 The student must be 16.5 years or older;
3.2 The student must adhere to the date, time, and place of the driving lesson. The instructor will wait 10 minutes if the student is late. If the student does not show up without timely cancellation as mentioned in article 5, the student is obliged to pay the full lesson price;
3.3 The student is required to pay the full lesson price if the driving lesson is canceled within 48 hours before the agreed/confirmed time. Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays do not fall under these 48 hours. The student must cancel the lesson by phone during office hours. A late-canceled lesson will not be charged in the case of the following situations:
3.3.1 The lesson is canceled late due to an urgent reason, such as a serious accident or death of the student, family members in the first and second degree, or their housemates. In these cases, the student must provide official documentation to prove these reasons.
4. The student must follow all the instructor's instructions during the lessons.
4. Registration and payment
4.1 Registration for driving lessons is done via the website, by telephone or by e-mail. The student receives a confirmation of registration;
4.2 Payment for lesson packages, courses and other services must be made in advance;
4.3 Payment is made by bank (IDEAL) or another method to be determined in consultation, but always before the start of the lesson;
4.4 All payments must be made within the set term. In case of late payment, the driving school is entitled to refuse access to driving lessons and to cancel the registration for the driving test;
4.5 If the student has not paid on time, a reminder will be sent, in which the student will be given the opportunity to pay the outstanding amount within fourteen days after the date of this reminder. If payment has still not been made after the reminder period, the amount will be increased by 15%. The driving school can collect the amount due via a collection agency.
6. Privacy and Data Protection
6.1 The driving school collects and processes personal data of the student in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR);
6.2 The data will only be used for administrative purposes, such as providing driving lessons and communicating with the student, and will not be shared with third parties without the student's permission.
